There are few things I associate more with my Asian identity than the act of taking off my shoes at home. So I'm beyond thrilled to announce that Please Remove Your Shoes is coming in 2027, courtesy of Greenwillow Books/HarperCollins!

I'm even more thrilled that I get to work with the amazing Xuan Lan, whose work I am absolutely obsessed with.

So grateful to editor Martha Mihalick for believing in this story. This is my second book with her (after Year of the Cat), and it's a privilege to make picture book magic with the Greenwillow team again.
